Intuitive Finance
Shifting to a mindset of saving > spending can take time. When your intentions are aligned with where you want to go once you’re comfortable where you are, it’s time to focus on investing.
You don’t have to be debt free, hire employees or scale beyond your capacity to start investing in your future. Retirement plans, college savings plans for children, real estate investments, and investing in the stock market are things you can start immediately with as little as $1 a month.

Intuitive Finance is a workshop geared towards established small business owners and creative entrepreneurs ready to take their money to the next level. You’ll learn how to:
Scale your business with an investment property, learn about rental properties, or hire a team to expand.
Put your profits away for a prosperous future, a.k.a save for a “rainy day.” Learn when to make big purchases you can depreciate and when to finance things like a company vehicle, technical equipment and other high-end purchases to get the most bang for your buck.
Focus on growing your Net Worth and measure success on your own terms. Learn how to enjoy the benefits of compound interest, max out your traditional, Roth, SEP orSIMPLE IRA accounts, OR set up a solo 401(k).

Hey! I’m Nicole Colton, the human behind QUARTZ + COAL.
I love money, and I’m not afraid to say so. My magical mission is to help small business owners and creative entrepreneurs build, run and grow sustainable, profitable business ventures. They do this by focusing on having meaningful conversations, making powerful connections and building strong communities.
These workshops are a passion project I’ve been eager to share with my community. Money management isn’t one of my biggest strengths, so I set out to collaborate with someone who is an expert in all things accounting, bookkeeping, financing, investing and long term retirement planning.

A little about me: I’m an Independent Financial Advisor, Certified Financial Coach and Small Business consultant dedicated to serving clients from all walks of life.
I’ve dedicated myself to serving the community. I believe thoughtful financial decision making is a crucial element of creating long term success for my clients, which include individuals and businesses, alike.
I am the owner of This Place, a successful Business Services and Consulting company in Fairmont, WV. I also work as a Financial Advisor through Summit Financial Networks, an independent broker dealer.
I believe in continuous improvement both personally and professionally, and I conduct business on the principles of integrity, honesty, and service to others.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and hold a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. Above all else, I believe in service before self, and strive to ensure your success through personalized recommendations made just for you.

Once you enter your name and email address, you’ll be whisked away to save your seat for the workshop(s) on Acuity. From there, you’ll be able to choose (1) workshop or the Trifecta (3) Package to save a little moola (buy all 3 and save $50!) to get a front row seat to our unreleased workshops in September + October. After you pay for your workshop(s), you’ll get a couple emails to confirm your spot is safe, provide you with a receipt for the transaction (for accounting purposes, of course!) and share a link to save it on your favorite calendar. One email with the subject line “🤑 CHA-CHING! Thanks for RSVPing YES to Pricing for Profits” has a button you need to click ASAP!
When you click the button in the CHA-CHING email, you’ll find yourself staring at a survey with some important questions about your past, present and future Money Magic (or lack there of…) We politely ask you fill it out with as much detail as you feel comfortable sharing so we can do our best to help you with these things before, during and after the workshop(s). Again, the more detail the better! It’s all strictly confidential.
After you complete your survey, you’ll start getting a few more emails leading up to the workshop with a few more homework assignments. These emails are very important. The work you do before coming the workshop ensures you’ll be organized and prepared for much success! (Yes, I said that like Borat.)
Finally, it’ll be time for the main event—Money Magic (IRL) with Rae + Nicole. During the workshop we’ll share lots of golden nuggets + pearls of wisdom about all kinds of things business, finance, bookkeeping, taxes, marketing, branding, investing, real estate, debt, organizing, and scaling with some sparkly magic tips + tricks sprinkled in along the way.
