After many years trying to figure everything out about email marketing, it boils down to 3 things--show up, share what you know and don't be shy!
When you get emails, you probably prefer updates with coupon codes from your favorite shops + stores online. You also enjoy the rare, personal email from friends or family. Sometimes, you come across a blogger or online business who really has their email marketing voice down. It feels like you're reading a message from your BFF.
Now, it's your turn to show up for your customers, and share what you love doing for a living. Being honest + open about your experiences and what you've learned along the way helps readers get to know you while building trust. When people like you, they want to support something they believe in. If people are paying you for your time + energy, they think what you're doing is important. They believe you can help make their life better.
